RIP Sudhir Bhattarai( In Photo: Right).

MBBS 2nd Year Student from Nobel Medical College named Sudhir Bhattarai has committed suicide on June 24, 2012. According to Student of Nobel Medical College, Biratnagar (as written in Facebook page of Orbit MBBS Preparation )- he was expelled from the exam, as his fee was not cleared.  This has shown the initial cause of suicide to be pressure of fees/dues in college and un-supportive behavior of college.

The full cost for studying MBBS in Nepal is in the range of 30-40 lakh making it one of the most expensive course of study and unaffordable for students from Middle-Class background. Because of high cost, most of the students prefer to persuade MBBS study in countries like China, Philippines, etc.
