Ubisoft game Far Cry 4 based on Nepal & Gurkha

According to Ubisoft, upcoming fourth installment of Far Cry 4 will feature landscape of Nepal, Gurkhas & Khukuri. The primary blade for the game will be Khukuri, famous weapon used by Gurkhali, Nepali. The “Behind the scene” trailer and plot for the game has confirmed the inclusion of these elements. Though to avoid real-world conflict,the game take place in fictional land called Kyrat which is taken from word Kirat.

Development team of Ubisoft landed on Nepal to research the landscape & culture of Nepal to accurately stimulate the environment in the game Far Cry 4. The inspiration for the game is Gurkhas, blade known as Khukuri and civil war of Nepal (which has now ended).
The game will be drop-in open-world co-op and will also have readable elephants. The winner of contest held by Ubisoft in Comic-con 2014 will be playing Far Cry 4 in Mount Everest.
The game’s main story line follows Ajay Ghale, a Nepali native, who initially returns to his home land Kyrat-–a wild region of the Himalayas, Nepal, struggling under the regime of despotic self-appointed king Pagan Min (played by Troy Baker)-–to scatter his mother’s ashes, but gets caught up in a civil war. This is the first time in the Far Cry series that, the main characters are natives to the country in which the game takes place.
Far Cry 4 will release this year on November 18 in the US and November 20 in EMEA territories. The game will be available on both generations of consoles – PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 – along with Windows PC.
