To help Nepali people affected by devastating earthquake of April 25, 2015, Microsoft owned company Skype introduced free call from & to Nepal worldwide.
Skype has announced that it will continue to maintain free call from Nepal to worldwide for at least another month. While call made from other country to Nepal will be at discount price of 10 US cent per minute. Skype’s official newsletter reads:
Over the past week, we have seen unprecedented volumes of Skype calls both to and from Nepal. We have realised how important it has been to reach and stay in touch with family and friends affected by the earthquake.
To help you stay in contact, we’ll continue to offer free calls from Skype within Nepal to mobiles and landlines worldwide for at least another month*.
For Skype calls made to mobiles and landlines in Nepal from abroad, we are introducing a discounted rate of 10 US cents per minute, starting today.
