Fix “Connection is not secure” error in WordPress while using SSL

1. Cloudflare fix for “Connection is not secure”

Cloudflare is popular CDN provider that provides basic free as well as enterprise solution fo content delivery, securing website and stopping DDOS, spam & hacking attempts. You can find this setting under “Crypto” tab.

2. Mixed content Fix for WordPress

If the above solution doesn’t work for you, first head over to Settings > General Setting from WordPress Dashboard. Change Site Address (URL) & WordPress Address (URL) to your new https URL. Next download a free plugin called “Really Simple SSL” and activate it. Configure the plugin and enable “Auto replace mixed content” & “Enable javascript redirection to ssl”.

The plugin will automatically fix all major issue that can cause the mixed content issue. This method is also a lot safer than manually editing database and .htacess file.
